People often view traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as 100% risk-free. However, some of the natural ingredients used are detrimental to our health.

Weight loss does not take place overnight. If you desire to control weight effectively in a safe and healthy way, you will have to change your eating habits and exercise regularly.

Today’s highlight will be the TCM slimming tea. Majority of TCM slimming teas consist of tea leaves and laxatives. They can only trigger the large intestine to promote excretion without burning calories, which can cause diarrhoea and kidney failure. Furthermore, tea leaves carry around 3% caffeine by weight.

Many diet drugs that insist to be natural or herbal with no adverse reactions are not necessarily dependable. Not all TCMs are beneficial to health. Even organic ingredients can have negative side effects.

HSA Advisory to Consumers: Be wary of health products that carry exaggerated claims or deliver unexpectedly quick and miraculous results. Be cautious even if the product appears well-packaged or have logos of international standards printed on them.
